Mezcalita

A Mezcalita is a cocktail similar to a Margarita but made with mezcal instead of tequila. Mezcal is a spirit distilled from roasted agave hearts, giving it a smoky flavor that sets it apart from tequila. To make a Mezcalita, mix mezcal with lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave nectar or simple syrup. Serve it over ice in a salt-rimmed glass for a delicious and unique twist on a classic cocktail.
